The highlight of the day was the ferry trip and the show where the kids could hold and touch some of the creatures. The downside is that the aquarium is small and it takes no time to get around, there were no seals and an area had been closed off. But the kids still enjoyed what was there. The biggest... More

I have been to Exploris before and wanted to see what has been done since the refurb. £25 entry for 2 adults and 2 children. 30 mins later we had seen everything and were leaving, this is with 2 6 year olds leasing the way. They have a no picnic rule and a no re-admittance policy meaning you cannot even... More

Great little aquarium but it doesn't take long to go round it all, so make sure you plan some other activities! But definitely worth doing, and we booked ahead online which was very handy

Been wanting to visit this place for a while and I'm glad I did. Nice wee place. It's not that big but it's great to have somewhere like this in Northern Ireland. Some great fish to see. Was really disappointed that there were no seals there today. No reduction in entry for this either but still enjoyed my visit. Would... More

We visited Exploris on 17/04/17 with 3 young children. Upon entering it was still as I remember as a child in fact the whole way through things hadn't changed much. Where did they spend the money on the upgrade I wonder? The play room is very small. Yes it entertains the kids but anymore than 4 children an it's is... More

Visited this morning with our 2 year old and 4 year old. The children enjoyed the visit but there wasn't enough to see to justify the entry fee of £24.50. My son has some dietary restrictions and most of the snack options on display in the cafe - traybakes, chocolate, scones and crisps - weren't suitable, and the No Picnic... More

The referb is very nice however it can be a very costly day £30 entry plus meals in the cafe & to get out you walk through the expensive gift shop. The kids did enjoy the trip but it only takes 20 mins to get through the whole Aquarium

£9 per adult £8 per child but didn't feel it warranted this price. While it was great to see some things you wouldn't ordinarily see, some of the tanks repeated the same things so there wasn't as much on offer as you would expect. Tiny touch tank are and in general quite small so in and around and out within... More

Went with great expectations. Not very many staff about to interact with visitors. It was advertised on web site there would be a ten am "seal feeding to watch". Arrived for ten am and asked the staff about this, they knew nothing about it. We looked at everything and stretched it out to an hour, not good value for money.... More

If you've ever been to any decent family visitor attraction in or outside of Ireland then I really wouldn't bother going here. It's not that it's a terrible experience, it's just barely even an 'experience' at all. After driving for an hour to get to exploris which is located in the middle of nowhere down numerous country roads, I was... More
