Having visited Puerto de Soller for the day a number of years ago by train from Palma, we decided to stay a bit longer this time. The train journey is so scenic and a lovely way to see the countryside but it only goes as...More

We arrived there by boat which seems to be the best way to do so. The little bay opens up with lighthouses above both sides and the town itself rounds up the bay. Made me think how it must have been several hundred years ago...More

Very nice village ( with a small harbour) half an hour from Palma, it has its own small beach, close to the harbour. Beutiful scenery , of the mountains around this small city ,only disadvantage the taxi service is very slow, and unfortunately the bus...More

A hidden gem on the North Coast missed by the crowds. Small and authentic and easy to travel to the amazing town - by vintage train if you wish. Recommended.

Gorgeous views, spotlessly clean and lots of good bars, restaurants and shops to choose from. Everything you need is on the beachfront which is completely flat so you don't need to go up the steep side streets unless you have to, although I totally recommend...More

It’s about 45km. Approx 1 hour by car and 90 mins by bus. There’s a nice trip from Palma by vintage rail. Hope that helps.

In Puerto del Soller both Es Passeig (Michelin level) and Kingfisher are excellent. But check if they are open and if so make a reservation in advance,
