We did the hike in the afternoon. The last part can be slippery if it has been raining or your shoes are not suited for the purpose. Possible to buy sodas and ice cream at the top before you go down. Not that strenuous -...More

A beautiful site, a convent used for retreats. The walk up is only for fit, active walkers but the climb is well worth it because the view is spectacular.

While the walk is quite heavy going due to being at the top of the hill, with a lot of distance having to be walked (cars can only go so far), the views at the top of Pollensa and surrounding countryside as well as the...More

A lovely shaded walk up a steep zigzag road to an old monastery, which is now used as a sanctuary where people can stay for a retreat (tel: 0034 971 184132). Wonderful views from the sanctuary, which is open to casual visitors (08:30 – 16:30)...More

The puig is reached by a 45 minute walk up a steep windy road which later becomes an uneven cobbled path. It is possible to drive part way, but this is still followed by a steep walk to the top. I wouldn't really recommend for...More

Don't go for the museum, which even had the lights switched off when we went - but DO go for the uphill stroll with awe inspiring views when you reach the top - and the bonus of an excellent cup of coffee in the peaceful...More

Fantastic view but wear appropriate footwear - the 'path' at the top is VERY uneven. There is a lot of shade along the route but avoid the hike on a hot day.
