Roadkino beach is not in the least bit touristy. Totally off the beaten track with one bar and a few tavernas. Loved the "goat man" taverna located at the far end of the beach. Truly authentically Greek, family-run taverna, everything homemade, including the food, wine, feta and raki.

If you are looking for the best place to take rest, relax, not doing anything, enjoying sun, warm water, wind and feeling of the paradise - go there. Nice taverna, umbrellas and sun beds free of charge.

Nice sandy beach with a few tavernas and beach bars. I fyou have young children visit the next beach "Polyrizos" which is much calmer and peaceful!

There are 3 beaches at rodakino.....the first one is Kodakas beach with very small stones, clear water and the beach is big enough....not to feel crowed. The second beach is called polyrizo. Apart from the sharp turn into the road, the way down to the beach is a good road. This is a nice sandy beach backed by shaded tavernas who provide sunbeds etc for their customers. We ate small fried fish, washed down with raki, at the Paradise taverna then lay in the sun to relax before swimming. The beach shelves very... More

Although very famous as one of the best beaches of south Crete, this beach I think does not have much to offer. Very clean with nice landscape but definitely not something special

I was heading to Fragokastello by mountain bike so couldn't deviate. Impressive old road bridge in Rodakino though and a new bridge currently being erected higher up the gorge. Quite a sight.
