A must do for anyone visiting Seefeld. It made our holiday, the views were spectacular and a good restaurant serving delicious hot soup. Very welcome .

I suspect this train heavily used in the winter for skiers, but at other times it is a great way to get up the mountain. Not every one came climb 1700 odd metres so this is for you. For the more adventurous you can always walk down, but we wanted it is steel in place. What ever your choice the... More

Caught the Rosshutte up and then Seefeld Joch to the top (although one of our group walked from top of Rosshutte - what a feat)! The walk up the top (45 min one way) looks scary but actually isn't so bad - one step in front of the other .,,, We caught the lift back down to the top of... More

A really panoramic experience, and good facilities with a very good restaurant. When purchasing your tickets to the funicular, return the tickets and you get some of your money back.

the only trouble with the train is actually finding it! The signs aren't exactly easy to follow. It is worth it when you get there however. If you want to see the two mountains up the cablecars that lead from this train then you need to buy a 28Euro ticket. This isn't advertised very well. This ticket buys you the... More

I recommend that you take the Rosshutte up to Seefelder Joch and follow the trail to Seefelderspitze. The panoramic views are fantastic. Walk back to Joch and take trails 10/81 back to town. A half-day excursion with many photo opds.
