Went to buy tickets and the man was extremely rude. Refused to give us a discount which the hotel said we could get with the card. Very expensive but amazing views. Pity it was ruined by obviously a man with some problems.

Loved our trip up the mountain followed by a nice hike back down to Seefeld. Train runs every 15 minutes and €2 discount with hotel bus card. Reasonable price at €19 one way. Fabulous views with plenty of cows and horses around.

Still paid €52 & couldn't get to the top, unless your fit & healthy it's a struggle to get to the 'Spitz' . Admittedly work is going on until February 2019 so I'd wait until then, although there's a nice restaurant/bar halfway up. If you...More

If you are in Seefeld, you must go and take the train/cable to go to the mountain. It is very enjoyable and you can get a nice meal at the middlestation.

The distance to the funicular is about 20 minute uphill walk from the centre of Seefeld. We paid €28 each for the return trip which included the funicular, cable car to the Top Station and a slice of cake and coffee at the restaurant. This...More

As long as your Hotel is in Seefeld, you are only looking at a 15 minute max walk to the start of the funicular train. We were lucky as it was 2 minutes around the corner.

I'm not sure. I believe they would be open all year round as it caters for walkers too as well as skiers.
