The lake is nice, but I expected more. During the evening I didn't see particulars praying and the worst thing is that the lake and surroundings are full of scammers trying to sell flowers, prayers or others. This makes the lake less holy.

Pushkar lake is a place surrounded by some holy religious temple & lots of people who come to there for religious purposes. When I visited this lake area it was overall interesting experience for us.

Loved the place..its clean ..strict rules state no shoes and no eateables allowed, which is good in a way..you can sit for hours on the ghat..so peaceful

2 hours Jaipur to Ajmer .you may stay in pushkar as it is very sooting and calm place and visit Ajmer in 1-2 hrs it hardly takes 20-30 minutes from pushkar to Ajmer .

ajmer is famous for dargah sharif and pushkar. one can visit round the year pushkar is just 20kms from ajmer and easily accesable by govt buses and autorickshaws and private taxis.. very economical place for staying and... More

Yes it has its own underground source of water hence has water throughout the year.
