There are many things to see here. This is the area where Vijayanagara empires Ranies (queens) once lived. Don't miss to see Lotus mahal which is in perfect condition. Water pavilion and the palace basements of queens can also be seen here.

The Lotus Mahal in this enclosure is worth seeing. The monuments inside this are in great condition and are a treat to watch or just take in the views.

The Zanana enclosure is another magnificent piece of architecture of Vijayanagara Empire. It was a secluded area reserved for the royal ladies of the kingdom. One can also visit the Lotus Mahal and elephant's stable located nearby.

Pricey but worth it the Zenana itself is the least impressive bit of the complex (Lotus Mahal, Elephant Stables etc) house a small museum and a seemingly endless supply of "officials" telling you not to take photos...
