A must see at Hampi. Pl take a qualified guide to understand all the intricacies. UNESCO doing a good job on heritage. The golf carts driven by ladies is a good concept for environment protection & women employment.

The first place we visited at hampi, the architecture look so good. If the ruins looked so bashful, I couldn't imagine how nice it would've been back then.

I think Badami is far better than Hampi. The monuments have not been maintained well at all temple complexes This one is the grandest and magnificent

The temple complex is amazing. You're taken there from the parking area via a battery operated cart.(dont miss out a temple on tye left and the holy bath/pool structure on the right. The architecture is drool worthy. Mostly constructed with interlocking sculpted rock grids the internals of the 6 structures inside tye complex are amazing. The rear if the central... More

Vithala Temple complex is a must place to visit in Hampi. It has got amazing architecture. Chariot and the musical pillars are too superb. Almost 400-500 years old temple and the entire town of Hampi. I am sure it might have been grand and rich during the times it was built.

Put this temple at top of your checklist. Entry fee required( 30 rs for Indians) with that ticket you can see other two places also. Bit far from Hampi bazaar(Virupaksha temple) by walk 2 km side of the river or by vehicle(11 km). It had the stone chariot, completely admirable, guides are there. Everyone say the same thing, its kind... More

This is the number one place for me in Hampi. A great example of our historical greatness. We should climb on the small hill nearby to capture full aerial view.
