We enjoyed looking here at all the local history of how the town became important and became a naval town. There was no charge but you were asked to give a donation.

The museum is lovely and offers a great history of the area. The exhibits are interesting and the curators are really friendly and willing to answer any questions. A great stop in this little town

Was pleasantly surprised by the amount of material in this bay-side village museum. Has variously themed rooms around which the material is organized. It can be a quick visit or a serious study depending on your preference. In a historic building dating back to 1777....More

This museum shows you everything regarding the navy and much much more. Very informative! Easy to get lost in all the history and beautiful displays. I recommend this to be one of your stops when in Simon's Town.

If you love penguins you must go see this beach. Its a sight you will never forget. Its a very quick walk in an out on a boardwalk but its totally worth it

Excellent museum , so much information and the volunteers are very helpful...fee is donation only. The penguins are a highlight.
