Great bikes in excellent condition. Owner was extremely friendly and helpful, providing maps and advice on a route around the Broads and pub lunch locations. Helmets, locks and repair kit also provided at no extra charge. Fantastic bike hire company!

Highy recommend! My boyfriend and I hired the bikes for the day and had the best day! We did 15 miles in total and stopped in Horning for lunch. Good price, good bikes and such friendly staff! Thank you!

Cycle Lords of The Broads

Having read about the limited availability of the bikes here, upon arriving at 10:00am on the dot, me and the wife were greeted with a warm welcome before being provided with two comfortable bikes and a lock.

When we explained what we wanted out of the ride without researching any particular routes, we were given a map with an explanation of what turned out to be a lovely cycle around Barton Broad and the delightful countryside villages nearby.

If you're in the area and want to saddle up, look no further than this place.

An excellent company to deal with. Very knowledgable and very helpful... even down to recommending where to stop for a cuppa and wood fired Pizza ! Superbly comfortable bikes. Would use again if in the area.

Great days biking.

Cycle staff were friendly & helpful & could tell at a glance the size of bikes that would be right for us (2 adults & one teenager). The bikes were clean & in good condition. Everything was cleaned as per COVID-19 guidelines. Cycle helmets were available - I would advise everyone to use them. We were given guidance & a clear map of routes. We were also given a good quality cycle lock & puncture repair kit. We chose a route that combined mostly flat quiet roads but some more bumpy & dusty track alongside a railway line. We stopped at a lovely riverside pub, The Rising Sun , in Coltishall. This was also v clean & COVID aware. Toilets were spotless & track & trace was used. We had a lovely day & would highly recommend Broadlands cycle hire , it was fairly priced & well organised.

So friendly and helpful
Aug 2020 • Family
We got there early having read that bikes are usually all gone by 11am!
We were served by a really helpful guy who made sure that we all had the right bike. We already knew where we fancied going but he still gave us a map and advised on the best places for lunch. We were also provided with locks, helmets, a pump and a puncture repair kit.
We cycled to Wroxham Barns which is well worth a visit. We then joined the old Bure Valley Railway line. It was much narrower than I expected but still a lively ride during which we saw several steam trains.
We stopped at Coltishall for lunch at the Rising Sun which was busy but we didn't gave to wait too long at all for our food. Highly recommend their wood oven pizzas!
Reasonably priced, helpful and a lovely, safe ride.

Great experience
Aug 2020 • Couples
We got in touch before visiting and were advised to get there as close to 10am as possible to have the best chance of getting bikes.
The gentleman in the cap was very helpful and friendly. He took the time to explain the route and what to do should we have any problems.
We had a fantastic bike ride along the miniature railway. Definitely a place to visit again and would highly recommend.

Super friendly staff, bikes a bit worn
Aug 2020 • Family
The centre is tucked behind BeWilderwood and could do with a bit of signage.

The staff were super friendly and full of great advice. Social distancing and cleaning of equipment seemed a high priority.

We got kitted out in full and were given some excellent guidance about routes and things to see. Top service.

All I could say is that the bikes were a little on the tired side and gears were occasionally hard to find. That said the price was very reasonable. I'd have been happy paying more for newer or better bikes. Nonetheless it was a good experience.
