English Heritage site , free car parking and free to enter, unmanned site, says on the website that it is manned at the weekend by volunteers including a small museum ... however this appears to be outdated and this hasn't been so since 2015. However...More

We visited here as somewhere different to take the dog (dogs permitted on lead according to the English Heritage website). This is a site with a lot of history with some of the C12th building remaining. The site itself is peaceful and provides enough information...More

Excellent production as ever. My 9 year old was transfixed. Bishops Waltham Palace is magical location for outside theatre.

Stumbled across this place by accident. Lots of the walls left standing, nice grounds plus a nice little museum and its all free including the car park. Well worth an hours visit if you are nearby- Marwell zoo is about ten minutes away.

An interesting ruin with several remains of the buildings from the 12th and 14th century. There are artists impressions of the buildings before becoming ruins! You can download an audio tour from the English Heritage website.
