Pleasant walk to view

Followed the advise of a park ranger and took a easy hike where we found the ruins. The scenery and sounds were relaxing.

Very cool spot to take photos. Nice shaded area to access the stream at the bottom of the falls. The mill is a great place to stop and cool off during the heat of the summer.

The storyboard is informative and is on the boardwalk way above the site. The viewing location is a great place to view the entire project and see and understand all aspects of the project. I wish they would be able to assemble the working parts of the mill to demonstrate the operation. Unfortunately the construction was ended when WWII began... More

While visiting the caverns we stopped by mirror lake and saw that you could follow the wooden walkway to the left and eventually get down to the creek below. It was great to actually see up close the mill and waterfall. It is slippery so bring good walking shoes. It was worth it.

Good place for kids & adults to explore. The trail is short & very easy to walk down. It's a long drive to the middle of nowhere but it's definitely worth the drive.

we went to the mirror lake area to see it, we pulled over on the side of the road going out towards the camp area like many other people had done, there is a little stairway that leads down to the little walkway, there is people out there fishing some too, we were able to walk out on it and... Why the address on W.Main and in Mountain View You are miles away. You need to go the Blanchard Caverns on RT 14. Take the road into the park and go straight pass sign for "Caverns" till you get to Mirror Lake Falls. You will need to park on the road so use caution. Down about 15 steps go the... More

The view from the boardwalk is limited. From the parking lot of the boardwalk, you can go down a lower trail that takes you straight to mill. This area is in the Blanchard Springs rec area, it is in ruins, not a working mill. Interesting to visit, beautiful site.
