My 80 year old aunt absolutely insisted that we travel to the middle of nowhere Arkansas to see these caverns. I've been to lots, including Carlsbad and even cave cities in Turkey. NOTHING compares to Blanchard Springs. Enourmous, living, breathtaking, and beautiful. We did Caroling in the Caverns evening program, and came back the next day for the 1 hour... More

We toured the caverns the first week in January. There had been some snow which might account for the small number of people on the tour which we though was GREAT! We took the top level one hour tour but would like to go back to do the completely different middle level tour. Our National Forest cave guide Dale was... More

Even though we visited this place in December (winter) it was worth taking the one-hour long cavern guided tour. The staff and guides were knowledgeable and friendly. The cavern is big enough to appreciate the beauty of the rock-formation but it is not big enough to become cumbersome or too tiring for children. The caves beautifully lit and not too... More

The location is remote - a long drive on back roads, and the facilities are minimal - no food, but the caverns are well worth seeing. The rooms are large and the decorations are magnificent.

During the spring break early this year we visited this Cavern with my family (wife and 2 boys). It was indeed a breathtaking view seeing all the beautiful rock growth over millions of years. Forest Service department is managing and they have maintained it well with great lighting and our tour guide explained every detail of it. My kids asked... More

Over Thanksgiving break, my family and I (two "senior" parents and five kids ages 9-14) drove from Mountain Home to tour the cave. It was worth it! The staff was professional and friendly, and our cave tour was interesting, informative and casual enough to ask questions. Alex is one of the most exceptional guides I've experienced. She knows her stuff.... More

We did the easiest tour and it was just right. It's a beautiful cave and our tour guide was very enthusiastic. After the cave tour we drove down and looked at the opening to the spring and also viewed the lake and the man made Falls. All in all a beautiful day, a beautiful place and it will be a... More

Blanchard Caverns are one of the most amazing things I have seen! It is a Forest Service site, so very well maintained and well done from top to bottom. Do not miss this if you are in the state of Arkansas!
