We visited Wegner's and was pleasantly surprised. We had a blast. We had a 7 and a 9 year old with us and they had no problem finding treasures themselves. We brought our own buckets and trowels but they loan them to you if needed....More

We had a wonderful afternoon and found tons of sparkly crystals in all shapes and sizes. Our host, Mike, was entertaining and educational. His knowledge about crystals and mining was most fascinating. Everyone at Wegner was most friendly and helpful. Already planning a return trip!...More

It's a good producing mine with an amazing shop. It runs in a two hour shifts for the digs and you have to pay more if you want to dig longer than two hours. The last run is at one thirty.

This place is great. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and some of the best digging in Arkansas. Not far from River view cabins which are awesome as well.

Thank you so much for those kind words. That type of feel is really what we work hard to maintain. It always makes us feel good to hear when others connect with that. Come again soon!

Thank you for the review! We remember you and those impressive bungee cords. What a great idea! You both were very prepared, and we advise anyone reading to take a few notes on what you brought with you.

We appreciate you taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. You really highlighted some great points. This is a very accurate summary of how the mine trips are laid out.

We did not go mining here, but browsed around their retail shop. Plenty of things to choose from and look at. We ended up buying a bunch of gems and stones. Prices are going rate for the area.

There is a restroom at the office/entrance, but not at the mine itself. Although not far from the entrance, the ride to and from the mine is very bumpy and seems to take longer than it does, so I'd take that into account... More

I did not see any RV facilities on site. There are 3 in the area. Don't remember the names but if you call the mine they can tell you the closer ones.
