Great break from hiking/camping to come and support a small family owned business in the area. We went for a short horseback ride (30 min) which was nice and relaxing. We could tell right away that the horses were well taken care of and the guide was helpful and friendly.

We spent the entire weekend staying at the house on the property. It was a wonderful experience. The house was nice, clean and simple. The house is located a few hundred yards from the barn and all the animals. It was a unique experience. We were able to spend ample time with all of the animals on the property all... More

If your on Petit Jean mountain and the kids are board take them to the petting zoo. Better yet take the family for a horse back ride with a tour guide.

We were killing time before a wedding after enjoying the beautiful state park. My 2 year old son saw some cows, so we decided to pull over. God forbid you should try to pet the ones close to the road without going in and paying first, the lady working out front yelled, " please come in to pet the animals!!!".... More

A small petting zoo close to the Automobile Museum on the way to Petit Jean. Llamas, goats, donkeys, peacock, birds. Kinda like you are on a farm. You purchase a little cup of food; I love animals so I had to go buy some more food. Also offers horseback riding. Would be good for children.

Our family stayed at the Cottage on the property. As guests, Helen allowed us and our children to visit the petting zoo, help feed the animals, and she spent a lot of time teaching the kids about the animals, their history and how they arrived at the farm. Helen is terrific - a great host - and so good with... More

This visit was okay. I was a little disappointed that the animals and the barn was a bit dirtier than I expected. The lady that ran the place was really nice, though. And the animal were cute. So, I hate to give it a bad review.

Stopped by on a whim. Such a cute place with lots of friendly faces and critters. Kids loved all the different animals and owner went out of his way to make it a memorable experience.

When the grand-kids visit, we give them a choice of going here or to the "big zoo". The always say "we want to go to OUR zoo." Pack a lunch, and stay a while. There are picnic tables and a kids playground out back. This place takes in animals no one else wants or have been picked up off the... More

If you have young or older kids, just watching them feed and interact with the various animals makes the trip worth it. My niece who loves animals wanted to go back the day we were leaving for just 30 minutes to feed them and see the animals again. Sure, you can burn through the money quickly on the feed cups...
