Difficult hiking but very nice view. Perfect experience, little bit of wild nature. Do not forget proper shoes and enough water.

If the weather is clear beautiful views of the mountains, sea, and seamounts. A tough climb on a well maintained but challenging mountainside.

This was quite a hike. The payoff views at the top were spectacular. This is not an easy hike - it is quite demanding and steep for most of the climb. Loved it though.

This was a beautiful hike. Totally worth it for the views at the end. We read other reviews and went earlier (arrived at 9am) and there wasn't too much people traffic. It would be a little more challenging if it was a busy trail since...More

The park closes at 3pm, and there's a reason for that - you do NOT want try that descent in the dark. The rangers would definitely not allow sunset hikes.
