So I dont do many reviews any more but thought I would do a full explanation as these are answers I wanted before I did the trip.
First of what do you need to take? I would suggest 2L of water, bug spray, a change...More
I trekked up the mountain with two friends in rainy season but it didn’t rain and was hot and VERY humid. We saw reviews saying the trek was really easy....we disagreed.
It could possibly be the down to us being unfit, but we saw some...More
Went solo but met a tremendous friend who went up with me. 1H motorcycle ride from Ao Nang followed by a tiring 2.5H hike up. Covering ~ 550M vertically and 5Km horizontal (for a 1 way up). Bring plenty of water, go in the early...More
it was 2 hrs hiking to the top but the views were absolutely amazing, you can see small islands from the top, although go with comfortable trainers do not try to go with slippers and pls take some water because you will really need it
At first we were afraid that it would be raining on the day of our hike, but luckily it drizzled just a lil bit early in the morning and stopped. The path was still a lil bit slippery, luckily we had proper shoes on. We...More
Not the easiest of walks, but the pay-off at the top is worth it. Climbed it last week in the "Green" season, quite hard going in the heat and humidity. Take plenty of water and if you do stop for a breather you'll enjoy the...More
I ran/hiked up this steep hill in 41:44. Would love to return to get a sub-40 minute time. Views at the top are beautiful. Park rangers are friendly. There’s water and drinks available for purchase at the trailhead. I would encourage you to leave a...More
About a 1&1/2 -2 hour hike to the top. Totally worth the work. Definitely wear sturdy shoes and bring a lot of water. The trail is a little difficult to recognize on the way down. View is incredible and it's not one of those trick-shot...More
A pretty tough hike to the top but definately worth it! Quite challenging route with really steep slopes with rocks & roots. The view from the top amazing. I would not recommend for children under ~10 yrs old or anyone with balance problems or healt...More

Please check the weather and avoid at all costs if its rainy because the trek is slippery at many spots. hiking solo is not a problem at all, it is a very short trek. do not forget to carry a few energy bars and a bottle of water as there is no provision of both at anywhere throughout the trek and also no such provisions at the top. A guide is not required at all as you will find many travellers coming back while you go up, they will provide ample guidance and cheer. Any communication with the park authority over facebook or email is not required at all. it is a very short trek but a bit demanding physically.

Hi, the best option would be to take a ferry (from Phuket or Phi Phi) to Krabi dock and take a taxi from there - ferry is like 400 baht and taxi should be 500-700. If they offer higher prizes (what they probably would try, be tough and negotiate).
Or if you can drive a motorbike, renting one is the smartest option.
Another thing is, it would be better if you have a stay somewhere there because it might be tough to do it like a roundabout trip.
