but it was due to the bad weather, or just not the time of year. i made a special trip to see this so good idea if there is a way to find out when the fireflys are able to be seen.

Was there 7pm and wandered around the grounds for a bit. No one manning the reception and no one around. Looked at the stars, they have a nice platform to view these from. But no fireflies (or people) to be seen.

Install google map...download offline map of Siquijor....search Siquijor's destination..... take a motorcycle....tap drive and let "IndayEnglesira" (what I call her,the woman voice of google map) assist you.... then when you reach your destination be sure to ENJOY......

Hard to find and not always open. We got a private Tour of the lady who was so passionate and knowledgable. Saw a lot of fireflies and combined with the starry sky it was magical
