Stunning stand of Sugar Pines, located around 400 metres along Knopsens Road, off the Batlow Road. Setting foot on Sugarpine Walk is like walking into a natural cathedral. Pine needles carpet the ground and soften every footfall. Great opportunity for photography.

Pretty incredible forest , would definitely recommend visiting here if you live in NSW. While only a small "walk" standing among the giant pine trees is one of the coolest experience I've had in NSW. Great spot for photographers and families alike. Really cool place...More

The walk through the tall pines is just amazing. It is only a small patch - only a few hundred metres long. The pines stretch high into the air with very few under-branches. It is definitely worth the walk through here. At the top end...More

This is a walk amongst the giants. Who ever planted the trees should stand proud. If you are in the area or Wagga Wagga do not miss this unbelievable walk it's easy and worth the effort, views to die for from the top.

The feeling when you walk through the sugar pines is almost surreal, the walkway up the centre feels like a natural cathedral with the very tall trees reaching up towards the sky and the forest surrounding the main section is covered in beautiful ferns.

Amazing! Top 1 must see in bago state forest! Just be ware of the dropping branches or nuts while walking through it...... Great thanks to the people who planted those tall trees in 1920s.

If you are at tumut, gundagai or around that area then this is a must visit place. I have visited with my family consisting a 4 yr old kid. Best time to visit is winter, specially while snowing.
