This is the beach you will want to visit when you come. Endless stretches of beautiful sand and waves. We took a short ride from our resort to explore one day, visiting gift shops and attractions nearby. The wind surfers flock to this vibrant beach and it is very fun to watch them. Early morning is best for those who... More

I stayed at Kite beach and walked on Cabarete Beach to the city center every day. Such a beautiful beach I did not even mind the 30 min walk.

Beautiful beach, always a pleasure to come here........until the beach sellers come and encourage you to buy even when your trying to sleep. I love this place but the obvious draw back is the many sellers. There's just too many. Even when you are sleeping they stand over you to wake you with their cheape cheape' or you want hair... More

Loved the beach. Enjoyed early morning walks along the stretch of beach for meditation and reflection.

Cabarete Beach is great! Azure blue waters, soft sugar sand. miles of safe beaches to walk on. if you like kite surfing this is the place for you. lots of places to eat and drink. beach vendors get old but they are much easier to say no too than in Mexico. This is my third time and i have never... More

The beach is beautiful with kite surfers, boogie boarders, body surfing, playing in the water. We rented 2 chairs while we were there for our family since the kids were in the water the entire time - about 3 hours. The only turnoff to this beach are the number of persistent vendors: jewelry, tours, massage, braids, fruit. We would talk... More

We went there and landed right in front of the lazy dog roadside grill (which has the best sweet tea I have ever had and I live in the south). The beach is clean waves are a nice size but gentle enough for my 5 year old to have fun without getting pulled under. The only thing that lowered my... More

Great location for watching the kite boarders and have a refreshing drink at one of the bars, or to have a snack

Most dogs you encounter are calm, but there are also barkers and biters, poorly controlled by their Dominican owners. If you go with a group, they stay away, but going alone a stick comes very useful.
