The history here is incredible. There was a lot of damage caused here last year by the Earthquake and its great to see the bamboo scaffolding and the Unesco support to help restore the temples. It really is beautiful. I also recommend the Geocaches here...More

Where ever you stay around Old Bagan there are lots of local tour operators where you can book baloon flight. But I am not sure if the flights are available after 1st April. Price is ca 330$pp

Because of Philippines passport holder, you have 14 days visa free to visit Myanmar. September is also good time to visit Bagan neither too hot nor cold. And also you can get cheap price for hotel rooms.
