We used the ferry to and from Penang Island, it was cheap and conveniently located a short walk from the Butterworth railway station. There is also a bus terminal as well as taxi's located outside the ferry station on the Island. Too Easy!!

New Penang Sentral is currently built so expect an unpleasant environment. From Georgetown, you can embark for train or bus to your next destination. Convenient and cheap way to go to or from Georgetown.
