Well worth the climb. This temple is different from all the other temples we visited. Amazing views. Go in the morning when there are less crowds.

A calm place that you will experience if you are ready for climbing the steps of Rockfort. It is nice that for most part of it, you will be climbing inside where there is shade. Only for the last few steps, you are completely outdoor

Good place to visit but remember that you cannot visit the big temple as a non hindu! As a non hindu, climb mainly for the view!

We loved this attraction. After visiting a number other temples in Tamil Nadu, Rock Fort was something refreshingly different. There are a LOT of stairs and I thought I might struggle, but there are hand rails all the way, and lots of landings so you can get your breath and take your time. We didn't enter the temple itself but... More

We were dropped here by our driver to check it out and found that there was a lot to see at the ancient Fort and temple in Trichy. There were excellent views from the top.

Fairly easy climb and a few temples to look at on the way up. It costs the same for foreigners and Indians at a very reasonable 10Rs. You have to walk up barefoot, so i would advise against going on a hot day when the stones would burn. The very top has good views.

Its a nice climb which takes about 20 minutes. It looks high, but the climb is comfortable as it is indoors and covered from the sun. A must go if you are in Tiruchy.

This is an amazing temple i go for worship at least once in an year. The entire city is viewable on the top of the fort. What an Exotic view with a Great ambience. Please make a visit to the temple to explore the divine power in it.
