This Place has to be one everyone's list visiting Gulmarg. The view is at its best up here at Apharwat Peak.

heaven on earth. Apharwat Peak is one of the beautiful summits, situated at a height of nearly 4200 m above the sea level. It receives heavy snowfall and remains covered with snow for most parts of the year. The snow-covered slopes are ideal for indulging in skiing. The Line of Control (LOC) is barely a few kilometres away from here.... More

Its one of a Kind view that's a must visit if you plan a trip to Kashmir. Views from Stage 2 of the ride is excellent. Please take a Guide if possible who knows the environment. Also wear proper winter clothing and snow boots. Level one has snow rider and few other games which are fun

Dont miss the chance to see LOC near this point. It is Phase 2 of Gondola Ride. Have tickets in advance. So many adventurous activites are available here. But, be careful in fixing prices, and do bargain at your best. It is less crowdy Best to visit between March to Jun.

No doubt, people travel to gulmarg only to see this place. Frankly, there is nothing else in gulmarg except this place. Pick the right month for travel. No point go so far and not getting good snow. I went in July first week. Snow was no very impressive around this time. So pick the right month.
