We had taken the gondola ride and reached the second base which was the Apharwat Peak. It was beautiful and the scenery was to die for. It was the first time for me to reach such a high point. Indeed adventurously beautiful!

apharwat hill is good place to visit & there was full snow even in may end. Kashmir is rightly said as heaven. Beter than other places to see snow in summer such as rohtang top

My wife and I took a gondola ride to the top of Phase 2 of Mt Apharwat which is at the height of ~14000 feet. This is an incredible place to go to. The view of the mountains – Mt Harmukh and Nanga Parbat (one of the tallest in the world) is just to die for. The snow capped mountains... More

This Place has to be one everyone's list visiting Gulmarg. The view is at its best up here at Apharwat Peak.

heaven on earth. Apharwat Peak is one of the beautiful summits, situated at a height of nearly 4200 m above the sea level. It receives heavy snowfall and remains covered with snow for most parts of the year. The snow-covered slopes are ideal for indulging in skiing. The Line of Control (LOC) is barely a few kilometres away from here.... More

Its one of a Kind view that's a must visit if you plan a trip to Kashmir. Views from Stage 2 of the ride is excellent. Please take a Guide if possible who knows the environment. Also wear proper winter clothing and snow boots. Level one has snow rider and few other games which are fun

Afarwat Peak is among world's highest cable car. Its an awesome experience. We went there in Feb 2016 and all Gulmurg was covered in pure white snow. It was a bright sunny day and as you board phase - 2 Gandola ride you start having amazing views of snow covered mountains and trees. Once you reach Afarwat peak you feel... More

Dont miss the chance to see LOC near this point. It is Phase 2 of Gondola Ride. Have tickets in advance. So many adventurous activites are available here. But, be careful in fixing prices, and do bargain at your best. It is less crowdy Best to visit between March to Jun.
