Loved the place! We took a boat from Hippo Point, and Titus who owned tha boat showed us a lot of animal life, hippo and a lot of different birds together with big lizards. Dunga bay is a must if you are in Kisumu!

where do I start, is it the sweet fish i was served? A boat in Lake Victoria, the lovely Luo culture. I recall the fisherman who gave me a few fishing technique though i wasn't successful in catching one. A nice experience indeed .

Very beautiful place to visit. The fish is very good as well as the people in this are. Transport is not expensive, charges can be as low as KES 250. Should you want to stay until late then it's best if you organize for your own personal transport.

This place is further up from the yacht club and formerly an old quarry but transformed into a nice restaurant with Mara type sleeping camps and there is also a small swimming pool here. We went on the lake here with the local fisherman in their wooden canoes. This place is right on the lake and is beautiful. Nice food

This is a great place to spend a lazy day at the lake. Have a cold beer at the local bar or go on a boat tour in lake Victoria. Enjoy beautiful nature and hakuna matata lifestyle.

We would warmly recommend Titus and his boat tour from Hippo Point. We paid 1,200 KHS / hour (stand: December 2015). You notice that Titus loves the nature. He knew from oodles of birds, trees, plants and animals the Latin name and especially always something interesting to tell, so that the boat tour was a great experience (and not only... More

Just outside Milimani, on the south shore of lake Victoria youwill find it. Past Hippo point and Kiboko bay resort. It is a bay and not a beach. No beaches in Winam gulf, also due to the bilharzia danger in lake Victoria. Dunga bay has many big waterbirds. Also hippo's when you are lucky. Otherwise you can rent here a... More

It is quite a long walk from the Impala Reserve to Dunga Bay, along some very rough roads. I would recommend going by car or motorbike. If you go by tuk-tuk, you will feel like you have gone ten rounds with tyson. Once you get there, you will see the camping area (usually without any tents) on the edge of... More

If you want an amazing veiw over Lake Victoria, while looking at the sunset and enjoying an ice cold Tusker, this is the place. When we were there in May, they were also screening Game of Thrones on a big screen there. So nice!
