Understanding the significance of the Asantehene, figures like Yaa Asantewaa (the war queen) and the current king sitting on the stool will be told here! Only problem, no pictures inside...there is a small museum gift store on the premises.

The tour was very informative, the culture is vibrant and beautiful. I enjoyed learning the history of the Ashanti royal family. Each time I visit, I gain more knowledge. Yaa Asantewa is my hero. I admire her bravery. Wonderful video and awesome gift shop.

Learned a lot - our guide was excellent. The place smells a bit like cat pee though. We loved learning about the history of Ghana and the Ashanti people.

I think the hours are like 9-5 but when we went, they were opening later than advertised because they said that people weren't usually coming that early. So, we had to wait for someone to come to give us a tour.
