Beautiful walking trail (mostly fenced and elevated for great views). If you want some great pictures--don't miss this place. The movie was really good--I'm glad that it was recommended to us--we didn't do it last time we were here. Lots of hands on things for kids in the lower level.

The trails are well kept and shaded. The nature center itself has live animals to view (as well as stuffed) which are indigenous to Arkansas. Staff is knowledgeable, and there are kids activities and a video/movie presentation. Good for all ages and it's free. It's on the edge of the city's Forrest Park - where the camping is excellent, and... More

The nature center is conveniently located on the south edge of the city's Craighead Forrest Park - both within the city & great places to visit nature a little without having to leave the city! The nature center offers many displays & interactive displays & talks for kids and has a nice walking trail with a small overlook tower. A... More

A real treat for nature lovers. We bring our grandchildren every time they visit. A walking trail is good. Center features animals of AR with descriptions and sounds. A short movie of the history of Crowleys Ridge is a real treat for young and old.

The nature center is a wonderful place hidden in craighead county. I love bringing the kids here they get a kick out of walking around looking at the animals on display ad seeing the educational stuff set up. The walkway around the natural setting is nice. I also like the hiking trails from the nature center to the outlook post... More

It is a great place to take children of any ages. It has an outside area to romp and play. It also has a air conditioned area inside that is great for the hot summer days or even cold winter days when looking for something warm inside to do. Check out their calendar of events, they do a lot of... More

Our boys beg to go here every summer. It's free admission and offers great information about Crowley's Ridge history and the nature surrounding us. We like the live animal exhibits best and walking the nature trails. I enjoy the birdwatching area.
