Hello, I was the tour leader of the group of four tourists who visited Botswana on Safari and I took them to the Okavango Delta where they camped for one night and they did afternoon and a morning walk.

The animal and bird life in the Okavango Delta is simply amazing. The variety of camps just adds to the experience as does the opportunity to do game drives, treks or go on the waterways in the canoes. If you want an amazing experience you...More

Remote, tented camp, luxury, perfect layout. Nothing more romantic than riding in the mokoro by the delta between hipos, crocodiles and beautiful flowers, waiting for the elephants to move from our truck to be able to cone to the camp. Fantastic experience

Yes it is high risk area for Malaria. But it is ok if you cover your body well and apply mosquito repellent. The facilities in Okavango are very good.
