Stopped here for a swim, and wasn't disappointed! Te water is crystal clear, and the sand is brilliantly white, and feels like 'powder; underfoot. A definite must see when on Santo!

Beautiful beach with a small jetty. It is really nice and away from it all. Clear water and very calm and sheltered. Lovely

Great beach with wonderful warm water, soft coral sand and fantastic views. Unfortunately totally spoiled by the ramshackle market stalls and the horrendously bright yellow, ugly, toilet block. Boy can we humans really ruin a beauty spot! Be prepared to donate to the locals when...More

First stop on our cruise - without a doubt in the top 5 beaches I have been lucky to swim in. Water is so clear and so warm. Nice array of local village stalls around the beach when a ship is nearby. Ofcourse you have...More

This beach is all you could want in a beach. Beautiful clear water, sun, squeaky white sand and more often than not, nobody else around. This is our go to place on Santo. A picnic lunch and a bottle of champagne, what more could you...More

We stopped here on our cruise, we swam in the pristine waters and soaked up the sun, we enjoyed the simplicity of the island. Lots of little markets offering small trinkets for sale, you can buy soft drinks and basic food. Very friendly and simplistic.

Hi, we weren't disappointed, just a beautiful place spent half a day, swimming & snorkelling. Well worth the visit. Quite a weird experience when you're snorkelling on top of the water which is all fresh then trying to focus into the salt water beneath!!! Would...More

A little confused. I'm doing an 11 night cruise. Two of our stops are at Santo one day and Champagne Bay the next. Are these the same Island? Would love to go to the Riri Blue Hole so wondering do I do this from Santo or Champagne Bay? Or can anyone recommend a better Blue Hole at either Santo or Champagne Bay. Hope I haven't confused you!

Yes its the same Island. Riri Blue Hole is beautiful with Jungle surrounds however, Nanda Blue Hole is spectacular coloured blue and very deep and clear (well it was a couple of weeks ago). There is more infrastructure at... More
Hi, there are 4 adults arriving in Luganville, just for the day off the cruise ship Golden Princess in May. We would like to go to Champagne Bay but don't want to book through the tours off the ship. Is there a local service we could hire and how long should we allow for the trip. We would like to be picked up from the quay and dropped off near the Santo Hotel to say hello to Mary Jane if she is still managing the hotel. Looking forward to hearing from you at your earliest convenience, Thanks, Rob Finneran

Hi You can book a taxi, once you come off the ship and allow about three hours to get there and back as this will give you about a hour and half at the beach, or even stop off at one of the blue holes on the way. And you... More

My partner and I went twice and were lucky to miss all cruises - one day we had the entire beach to ourselves. The days were a Wednesday and Monday
