Went there these past few days with time to kill in Hluhluwe and three kids. This place is desperate, dirty, no proper descriptions, no light in snake area so couldnt see inside. I am sure this place would not be approved for minimum animal care standards. Tours were off due to lack of tourists (zero!).. Grim.

We have just spent a couple of hours here. We had a tour by Lawrence who was extremely knowledgable about snakes and the crocodiles. We got to hold a carpet Python and were told a lot of really interesting facts about lots of the native African snakes. We also had a talk about the Crocs and how is is breeding... More

We went by Zulu Croc expecting to spend an hour or so and were disappointed that we had to leave after over two hours to make it to another appointment. Pay extra for the guided show as Lawrence was a wealth of knowledge on crocs and snakes. The educational theater they have built is fantastic. I was surprised when he... More

Very well laid out, clean and welcoming establishment. The restaurant is small but more than adequite with a very good menu. Haven't tried it yet but I keep threatening to soon...it looks inviting. The tours are well structured, informative and very entertaining. You can just walk through on your own but you miss out on a lot of the overall... More

I wasn't expecting to have a lecture on snakes when we arrived but it was very interesting if a little long given the seating arrangements. I learnt lots about snakes and it was nice to see the crocs but we didn't get told much about them. If your more about the crocs and less about the snakes I would recommend... More

Its not your ordinary croc world, its laid out very nicely. There is a small shop and restaurant. You can either just walk through yourself and read the information or you can join a tour. They have a tour twice daily. That tour/show is very informative and exciting, also a bit scary. Overall a nice activity to do with young... More

The visit was really boring and the the people doing the ceremonial activities certainly did not have their heart in it. They went through the motions but really no feeling of their having any true feeling of involvement. Appeared just a tourist trap. Not worth the money. Should have had beer making and bread making but never saw it. Big... More

Spent an hour walking around and looking at the crocs and snakes - just that morning I had walked into a Forest Cobra with my bird guide - and was now able to see one for a longer period up close. Appreciated the glass between them and me this time. Had a fun time. Especially to see how the bigger... More
