A real surprise are the well maintained capsules if you consider that this is a country with zero budget for tourism. Take a break out of the city, this is the perfect way to do it. You can go up and grab a quick lunch...More

The Teleferico is one of the great places to go in Caracas. The view getting there and once there is breathtaking. Careful if you are afraid of heights, but be assured that the cable car is fully secured and with no issues.
It is amazing because from a big city like Caracas in Venezuela, the people can take a cable car with departure to the Avila mountain, here there is a good temperature and a big view to the Caribbean sea and to the Caracas City.
This is an excellent way to view the whole of Caracas. The cable car ride is about 15 minutes and the views are breathtaking. If you have a fear of heights, then it could be a bit dicey on the ride up. The views at...More

There are many places where you can find massage services. Just Google "masajes antiestres en Caracas". I could recommend one of them, the only one that I know and the only one that I use since it is very close to my home: Corphus Mentis: The place itself is very relaxing and in a good suburb of the city (La Trinidad). The address is very easy to find either in Google Maps or Google earth. Look for Hacienda la Trinidad. Corphus Mentis is very close to it. You can also find their telephone in the yellow pages or visiting their page..
A very useful hint: Caracas, and Venezuela as a whole, can be one of the most expensive countries in the word or one of the cheapest !!!. If you use your credit card you will be facing the first case 1 USD = 12,30 Bolívares(BsF) at the official rate. If you bring cash it will definitely be the second: 1USD = aprox 190BsF. at the black market. But you being a tourist will have to satisfy yourself with more like 170.
So make your own calculations: a good massage will cost in a very decent place between 800 to 1000BsF .
Hope you enjoy your visit.
