Just as any other place in and around Merida, the Plaza Bolivar is a great place to visit, if someone happens to make the rather complicated trip to Merida.

You can spend a number of hours hanging out in the plaza. There are lots of people watching opportunities, food and craft stalls, and ongoing political and social gatherings. Definitely worth a visit for one or two afternoons.

A nice little plaza full of street vendors worth their local goods and many clothes, next to the cathedral. Worth a quick visit to take a look around.

Nice place to visit. Be careful with pickpocketing, though. Nice seating area, it's in the downtown area.

Nothing more than a square, it is not a Merida tourist atraction, it is a simple square where people can rest or walk.
