12km walk with some rough part and trails but worthy. The landscape, forest and the lake worth the walk for sure. Plan to spent the day, in any case you will get exhausted.

A very easy hike where you can leave your mind behind and just walk and enjoy the nature and the tranquility.

A relatively level hike with just a few hills. Typical to have the spires lost in the clouds when you get to the lake, or to have big winds all the way up and back, but worth the effort. Interesting beech forest all the way.

This hike was one of our favorites while in El Chalten. It is long, about 20 km round trip, but the views along the way are amazing, and you end at the lake, where you can soak your tired feet in glacier water before heading...More

Not active and chose this route as I think it's the easiest one. Not much hiking experience and never hiked alone, so this was a first for me. Went end of September, there weren't too many people, only about 10 or so people along the...More

Very simple walk starting from just outside of town. The paths are all well marked and are good underfoot the whole way to the lake. The only slightly unsteady part was the extra bit to a viewpoint on the other side of the lake. It...More

Alot of things will be closed. Buses from el calafate won't run as often. Accommodation will be cheaper. Weather will be alot colder. The laguna torre trek should still be ok, but the laguna Los tres trek might be tricky... More

Hi, I don't know if you're trained to trekking activities but It's VERY hard because of the weather conditions and most of the shops in town are closed. There are some open hostels but it is not recommended. Anyway, the... More
