I live at the beach and walk, run, bike, paddle or boat during all seasons. The park is definitely best off season but there is always some small sunny or shaded spot to read a book or snooze. My favourite place in the whole world.

We've rented a cottage on Wasaga Beach (Allanwood Beach section) for the past four years and it's a perfect spot for young families to enjoy as it's very shallow and warm. Fantastic sunsets too, as the beach faces west over Georgian Bay. A great cottage location.

The park is part of the longest fresh water beach in the world. There are 5 parks(beaches 1 to 6). Depending on what activity you want, you can choose a busy beach 1 which has many food restaurants including some with alcohol. Beach 2 is close to the activity but quieter. Beach 3, 4, 6 are very quiet without any... More

This is an amazing beach. The water is warm and you can walk out very far before you get into deep water. Beach 1 has a great splash pad, souvenir shops and multiple restaurants to enjoy with your family. You do have to pay for parking but the parking lots are very safe and you can park the entire day.... More

The great thing about this beach is that you can always find a spot as it is the world's longest freshwater beach! There are six parks in all. Some of the parks are more suited for picnicking, while others have more attractions at it. Some are just sand and water. The water is very shallow for a long way out,... More

It was 7° the wind chill factor felt like zero. Listening to the waves crashing in rhythm and stepping into the soft sand was a fantastic experience.
