One of the advantages of visiting the outer Hebrides at the very tail end of the season, is that places such as Skyeskyns are quiet therefore a more personalised service can be offered. We really appreciate the detail to which the tour was given by...More

The tour offered is free of charge and gives a good understanding of the processing of hides. The attached shop offers a good selection of their product. Arrangements can be made to ship your purchases home.

We enjoyed the tour very much, our guide Dave was very polite, knowledgable and solicitous of aunty's extra needs. We treated ourselves to a fleece as I have been wanting one for years.

Visited with young children. The tour guide was enthusiastic and made the short tour enjoyable. It was well timed in that we felt we learnt quite a bit, but wasn't too much for my child. The have a well stocked shop for browsing afterwards.

Hi The best bet is to contact us direct through our website. We can then put you in contact with Pete our tanner who will be able to give you advice and information on tanning. Skyeskyns
