Very windy the day we were here but it was still beautiful and worth the visit. Picked up some lovely little shells and there were lots of small pink ones.

Such a beautiful place to be whether it be sunny or overcast. No phone or data signal so put your phone down and connect with nature. Miles of glorious sand. Acres for the dogs to run and real space to breathe.

The beach is an absolute must when visiting the island of Harris. Must be one of the worlds best, clean, miles of white sand, clear water with a magical backdrop of mountains. Paradise indeed..

Think a car is a must or bike ifyou are fit! saw many cyclists do the Hebridean way. not sure about buses but do a search on google for harris bus tours. did see a few bus tours at many points.😀

Yes its probably true that the town isn't the most charismatic on the island but only because the rest is so scenic and Stornoway is the main port. How are you traveling
