It is the famous airport beach and it is the busiest beach on the island. It is not the best beach on the island by any means, but is worth watching a plane or two land.

AIRPORT BEACH!!!! What a place. Did the fence surf with a 737, holy crap that was warm, lost my Oakleys to the cause, swam in the ocean, drank a few Mango Mojitos. Just don't put your towel, parasol behind the runway!! All of your kit...More

Given the notoriety of Maho Beach, I HAD to visit it, in spite of Irma recovery still very much a work in progress. The proximity of the arriving and departing aircraft is mind-boggling. Sadly, there is virtually no beach left, since the hurricane. Foreshore has...More

Came to the beach via a jet ski tour. We didn't go onto the beach but we did get to see some planes land which was awesome. Definitely worth checking out.

the wave at Maho Beach were very strong when we were there. So did not see any jet ski around. Maho beach is not that big of a area too. Also, St. Marteen is not like a "jungle" island so I am not aware of any zipline place?
