This short walk is interesting and informative with information boards dotted along the way. Lovely pools of water with unusual colour. Must be minerals from the slate?? Worth a look if you are in the area close to the road and parking near by.

It was very wet when I went there, but still it was a great place. Had signs giving great information about the history of the slate quarry and how important it was to the area until 1955, when it closed.

Lots of interesting regional history here. Gorgeous scenery with fog and still water, and a nice cafe right across the street. Good for a quick look!
