We are a takeaway, bake on the premises, bakery. We make real bread without any additives or preservatives. The National Trust specify that we may only use one table for customers to consume food which means they must either sit together at that table or buy takeaway food. We would like to offer more but 'rules are rules' and I hope that visitors will understand when we present them with a takeaway cup! To all our lovely customers, please keep visiting!

When walking around Lacock on a snowy sunday we were pleased to see the bakery open. We popped in to check out there fair. Nice to see the assistant in period dress. We did buy pork pies and bread.

Popped in for fresh bread while on a day visit to Lacock; nearly distracted by the delicious looking range of cakes, chocolates, pies and pasties! Bought a crusty cottage loaf, and flour coated wholemeal loaf, which we have really enjoyed.... This was a busy Saturday...More

A good range of products offered. As one might expect, rather expensive. Absolutely fine if it 'delivers' (freshly baked bread, cakes etc of the finest quality are one of life's great pleasures!) but it falls short. The loaves of bread of various types are good...More
