Lovely village

Not much variety in eating places after 6pm. Ended up in the only chip shop followed by supermarket.

Lovely old church with bags of character. Only a stone throw away from some amazing walks. And a couple of good pubs.

A very nice little church that fits perfectly the beautiful little town of church stretton. It looks like a picture from a fairytale. Worth a visit as it will make you appreciate these little churches a bit more.

We came across this church by chance and were surprised to find a church with a thatched roof - definitely worth stopping to look if you are passing by.

A very unusual thatched church in a very pretty village which is a great place to start the Long Mynd circular walk. Less busy than Church Stretton.

The church at Little Stretton is a quaint thatched building in a peaceful location. The church is open for visitors and is well worth a visit.

Second thatched church been to, the other in Freshwater IOW. Not your usual church feeling inside with timber panelling but it is the outside you come to see, something a little different donated by someone who loved their village.

Although it is not particularly old by Anglican church standards, it is well worth a visit. It is attractive on the outside, and well maintained inside. Moreover it appears to be a well supported church in the community. We were lucky enough to visit while the organist was practising - a musical bonus. It appears to be open most daylight... More

All Saints C of E church is well worth photographing and visiting. It is a lovely smallish timbered church with a well thatched roof and a striking black and white exterior : it sits in an attractively walled grassy garden, overlooked by Ragleth Hill to the east and the Long Mynd to the west. It is a church that is... More
