My 4 year old loves it here, he does avoid some areas as there abit scary for him! We visited at Halloween and that was brilliant with all the decorations, we then came again at Christmas and I was gutted the Santa was shocking, I sent in a complaint and never got a reply, so for that I won’t be visiting again.

Dear Purely_pink Thank you for taking the time to write a review. really pleased that you enjoyed our Halloween special, a lot of work goes into this and its nice to receive praise about how good it was, we also put a lot of work into our Santa Sundays, and I was surprised at your remark that the Santa clause wasn't as good. I was not aware that you had sent in a complaint regarding this. We have used the same Santa Clause now for over 10 years without a single complaint, in fact everyone says just how good he is. We are in the middle of a pandemic and of course Santa cant come out and greet children in the way he would normally do, because of social distancing measures we have in place. We have tried very hard to make the best of a very difficult situation and feel that most really enjoyed the experience, I wish you had asked to see a manager on the day regarding your complaint. Many thanks

Wow what an amazing place, so much to see and explore, we all had a great time. Our only negative would be that the grounds and cafe and shop felt too busy in light of the current situation. We found it very difficult to social distance. Would definitely recommend but not in the current climate.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. Great to hear that you enjoyed the attraction. We have a number of Covid-19 measures in place and clear signage as well as a member of staff before you even enter explaining the measures. In the shop there are one way floor stickers throughout with an arrow clearly showing the direction of travel. https://www.theforbiddencorner.co.uk/covid-19-information/ this shows you some examples of the signage we have at our one way systems. We have members of staff patrolling the attraction at all times and where most people follow our measures you must understand that we can’t be accountable for each individual customer. At no point do we allow any of the narrow passage ways to be used two ways and as you can see from the link I put previously the floor signs (which are accompanied by wall signs) are very hard to misinterpret. The safety of our customers and staff is our biggest priority and we have strict measures in place. We were also SPOT CHECK ASSESSED by a visit England assessor as part of the 'GOOD TO GO' scheme and they were more than happy with the measures and assessments that we have in place. We hope this hasn't put you off visiting again in the near future. Stay safe. Many thanks

Visited recently and had a really good day out, despite the weather. My children (9 and 6) loved exploring all the areas, but especially the castle. One way systems were adhered to and face masks were being worn inside buildings.

Visited today as a family of 3 (2 adults and a 7 year old). We were greeted at the entrance by a lovely young chap; he explained how they had put one way systems into place in some areas to assist with the current government guidelines and where masks were required to be worn. He also told us about the coin rubbings that were scattered around and informed us that once we were booked in we would be given a leaflet so we knew we had seen all that was on offer. The pre booking of tickets was a fantastic system, we chose the 10:30 slot to ensure we got a full day to take in all the sights. The lady working on the entrance was very helpful and explained to us the Halloween quiz and that there was special bones to look out for (kids got a prize upon handing back the bones), the bronze rubbing sheet was available to pick up from the desk. Once inside both adults and child found the burping mouth hilarious and had to go back through several times as my child and man child thought it was great! The venue was very clean and we saw several staff scattered throughout the outside areas. One lady was positioned just before the stepping stones and she explained perfectly that due to the one way system we may need to pass this area several times to ensure we had explored all that was on offer. We were also told that some of this area was underground so face coverings were to be worn. A brilliant day was had by all, lots of laughs, the odd shriek when we got caught out by the squirting of water and the cat in the mouse pub! Our only grumble would be the cleanliness of the toilet by the wooden park, however this is due to other customers lack of hygiene. We will definitely be visiting again, thank you for a lovely day.

Dear ladygin33 Thank you for taking the time to post a review. Its good to hear that you all enjoyed your recent visit to Forbidden Corner. Our staff are a nice bunch and will go the extra mile to ensure visitors are well informed on what to see and do while here. our toilets are checked regularly as part of our covid risk assessment, but it is hard for staff to be in the right place all the time. We hope to see you all again very soon and hope the virus has soon passed us all by. Stay safe Many thanks

This place is amazing! We weren't sure what to expect at first but once there we were amazed by it all and we were busy the whole time. We had a map of sort with different places and objects to find and you kept going round just so you didn't miss anything. We had a break halfway and had some dinner then went back to exploring. We managed to find all the hidden features (look in every nook & cranny) It really was a strange but fascinating place.
