Reviewed yesterday NEW

We went with our friends who live in North Berwick and had never gone. We all found it interesting, a great glimpse into the past. It was a misty cool day but still loads of people out. We really enjoyed the concord section. The cafe was very nice as well.

Took a chance here today given usual iffy weather. Prices just about ok..£31 for a family ticket but all in all worth it with two five year olds. They didn't appreciate the grace of Concorde ( absolutely Fantastically displayed and a credit to the museum ) though they loved the interactive unit ( no 10 ) and the outdoor zip... More

Bit of a trek to get here but well worth it. Loads to see, lots of interactive stuff for the kids and helpful, knowledgeable staff. The new hangars are fantastic.

We went with 2 - 70+ also 2 Adults and 2 children under 6 and all enjoyed the visit. Good hands on area for children of all ages. Small play area outside with zip wire. Good soup and sandwich in the cafe. We bought a family membership ticket for 12 months which cost £65 I thought that was expensive considering... More

Title mentions young children - the four kids I had with me were 6-12 years and they all loved this place (as did I). Loads to see and do and, unlike most museums, the games and practical elements which kids love all seemed to be working. Some great videos in different places and lots of easy to find information. We... More

We visited as a family group of seven aged between 1 and 75 years old. One down side, we visited with two people with walking issues, but all of the planes that you can board do not have any disabled access. That said the buildings and main attractions are easy to access. There are plenty to see, however there is... More

We have three children under 12 and they (and we) all enjoyed the visit. There is lots of interactive elements to keep the kids occupied and good informative short films plus of course Concorde and lots of well presented aircraft. An outdoor play area and visits to the shop and cafe rounded off a very good day. Well worth the... More

This museum could be so much better with a bit of imagination.I was shocked at the price rises £12 per adult and £31 for a family of four. Really expensive for what you get and now they charge at the entrance whilst you are still in your car. We are members but it's not very inclusive pricing. It's the NMS... More

It's a great day out. I can't see how the average visit lasts only 1.5hrs. We spent a fascinating afternoon. Concorde is majestic & a visit worthwhile for it alone. There are however many more interesting exhibits. My only sadness is the shabby state of such an iconic plane as the Vulcan. Parked understandably outside (due to its size) it... More

Exhibitions are scattered all over the site which is nice as you get a feel for the old RAF base. Waterproof needed though, just in case. The children loved the Concorde Experience despite never having seen it fly. The military hanger has a couple of interesting aircraft that are not the norm. The Commet, Vulcan and BAC111 are really showing... More
