Visiting Bolonia in the old days (30 ys. ago), one could find wild horses and even a wild bull in this beach. Nowadays, the beach can get quite crowded with difficulty accesing the town due to heavy traffic.
This is a beautiful beach at the Costa de la Luz. But it's very popular in summer so be there early to have a parking place and if you won't get stuck in the traffic. I think it's better to go here in off season.
We went during a heat wave and it was packed with Spanish tourists. Beautiful, parking tough if you arrive after 11. Food shacks and restaurants very mediocre so bring food! Lots of good shopping from beach attendants walking beach.

I wouldn't recommend snorkeling, Maybe bringing a good beach tent with stakes would be better, This is a wild coast, known for shifting currents and changing weather. It's a kite surfing and windsurfing mecca... Snorkel/Scuba at your own risk, I wouldn't do it unless you have a professional with you and a support boat.
