A magical place in the evening with bars/restaurants providing ambiance. There are plenty of seats to while away the evening watching the street sellers entertain you trying to sell their wares. Ice cream is plentiful as is the individual shops and restaurants around the carabero...More

Nerja is a touristic but nice town . From the restaurant near the balcon de Europa you have a nice view on the sea and a small beach .

OK no big deal, it’s a pretty headland in a town center that protrudes a little out to sea. If that kind of thing blows you a way ,, rock on ,, for the rest of us it’s a pleasant stroll with a nice view...More

As the history says, Alfonso 12th saw the view and said it was like the balcony of Europe. The view is great, and peaceful despite the number of people there. We went in both early evening and later on and there were a number of...More

It's just lovely. The sea view is fabulous. I would advise you be careful where you eat as it is twice as expensive then 3 rows back. Great for a coffee. And the beaches are beautiful!

If you are going to Sevilla from Madrid, I recommend AVE, the express train. You can make a reservation at Renfe. It's hot already so casual shorts are recomendable.
What is the attire for Nerja. We are planning a trip and want to pack wisely.

Shorts, t-shirts, flip flops etc. It is a beach area and gets hot in the main town. Evening time you can dress up or keep the casual look.
Hi we are planning to drive to Nerja for a day trip while on holiday next month. We can get ourselves to Nerja but wondered if someone could give me simple instructions of how to find the underground parking near the Balcon de Europa or other parking near there. Don't want to park somewhere and then not be able to find the car again!! Thanks.
