We rented a villa on Punta Lara, it is a modern development which is very tastefully done. The architecture is a modern Moorish style and the villa we stopped in had stunning elevated sea views. A great place to stop.

there are two bars in Punta Lara plus a poolside bar that serve limited food. Nerja is only 5 minutes by car - too far to walk with young children.
