Entering on a senior citizen discount ticket at the princely sum of €2 a head the Cathedral is a very impressive building with a long history. We hired the audio guides, spoken by an American lady in our case, which are a must if the...More

Lovely and much history, dont pass the large painting near the entrance and see if you can spot the scissors in the picture for luck. You can go up high (there is an elevator) and look down inside at the church as well. Lots of...More

Beautiful cathedral... the paintings on the lower floor sacristy were amazing and well worth a visit, also there is a staircase up to the top levels that offers spectacular views of the cathedral from a very different angle.

The obvious must-see spot in town is this huge beautiful cathedral. Once you get in (an entrance fee awaits you!), do not omit climbing up the stairs (close to the sacristy) to enjoy beautiful views of the region (from the church side balcony) as well...More

Jaen is often overlooked by visitors to Granada, but it is well worth an hours drive to see this beautiful cathedral. Imposing from the outside with the twin belltowers and striking inside with the vast tall pillars, carved ceilings and ornate altar.
