nice for a walk. I felt like a lot of the buildings have been neglected which seems common along this coastline

We love Los Boliches - it's quieter than neighbouring Fuengirola but still has plenty of excellent facilities, hotels, bars and restaurants. Shops too! The long sandy beach is an absolute treasure. Clean and with several beach bars dotted along the stretch. We pay 10 euros...More

Love Los Boliches, we come every year, train from the airport, easy 15 minute walk into Fuengirola, Great beaches, fabulous restaurants, every nationality you can imagine. Authentic Spanish bars and tapas off the main drag. Would thouroughly recommend it.

Another lovely beach, generally clean and smooth sand. Also if you walk off the beach and away from front, there are some older parts of town to wander round

Walked up from Fuengirola based on all the rave reviews but it was just the same, quieter and more suburban, but really couldn’t fathom how this made #1. The beach on the other end of Fuengirola is just as nice and less choppy! Would not...More

Yes, you change at MMZ the main railway station in Malag and catch the Ave to Córdoba. It’s really easy. You can also go on to Madrid if your feeling adventurous.
