Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This plaza is truly the heart of this very Spanish city. While it attracts a constant parade of tourists, they do no overwhelm the locals - from gatherings of women of a certain age to families with strollers and mass attendants.

This is a great place to just relax, either on one of the benches or in a cafe, and watch the world go by. Its great when weddings are on in the church as well.

It was our first time here when it was hot, as usually here over the winter, so nice to sit on a bench in the sun and watch the world go by.

Lovely church, there are many cafes and restaurants off the side streets here too

This is a lovely square located in the centre of Fuengirola, the centre piece is the Virgen Parroquial Church del Rosario, built in the mid 1800's, there is plenty of seating and shade to enjoy whilst watching the world go by, the square is also home of the Monument to the Constitution.

nice cosy square where you find a mix of local people and tourists. Nice little church where there was a celebration (I don't know what) and it was nice to see some old Spanish ladys wearing nice dresses.

Great church and sitting areas plus a nice monument in the square. Lots of buzz and bars / restaurants on the edges.

I really liked the square in the evening when older people came together to meet each other. It felt cosy and very Spanish

The plaza is typical of such plazas in Spain . Not the biggest or the grandest but it has a certain charm . The RC church is the focal point and it is a 19th century church , ornate inside. There are plenty of benches to sit and people watch . Some nice bars , cafes and if you venture over behind the Post Office there are many more quaint bars and cafes . Fuengriola is not all ‘touristy ‘ the seafront and a few streets in cater for tourists the rest of Fuengriola is a ‘working ‘ ‘residential’ town .
