We recently attended a wedding at this church. The priest was a real breath of fresh air and nade everyone (including non-catholics) feel welcone. A magnificent church with an unusual organ and excellent acoustics.

I'm not at all a church-goer or specialist, but I've seen quite a few as a tourist. This cute one is definitely one of the best ones I've seen.

A surprisingly large church in a small town gives some idea of the importance and wealth of this community in times gone by. Entrance is €3 per person. In the tower there is a small display of the church treasures but the interior is dominated by the huge screen behind the altar. There are a number of side chapels (not... More

Excellent museum... The exhibition talks about the late and complex story of Judaism in Seville. Open daily from 11 until 7!

Within a small area of Carmona you reach many exquisite buildings built in Carmona. Iglesia de Santa Maria de la Asuncion is one of them. You should really dig deep into the history of this place whatever you do.

Entry is 3 euros per person. This is a big Gothic structure that looks like it ran out of money and appears unfinished. There is a small uninteresting museum attached.

Actually, even if you don't like churches this place is worth a visit. One of the many exquisite buildings built in Carmona in such a small area. You should dig deep into the history of this place whatever you do.

Built from the ruins of the Almohad mosque back in 1424 this church is over 600 years old and is pretty impressive. You do not need long for a visit (I was inside less than 1/2 hour) but it is well worth it especially as it is just €3 per adult to enter. The altar piece is a work of... More
