This is an absolutely gorgeous castle. Our English speaking tour guide was amazing. He knew so much- like the trap door in the library. He was also very "in" with the other guides and people who operate the castle. Easily able to separate us from the other groups so it was just the 5 of us at a time. Some... More

Beautiful experience to visit this palace of Carol I. Someone can admire the architectural innovations, his collections of the armor of this kind king, his love for knowledge , music, culture. I was happy to meet this place and the history of the area as well as the magnificent environment.

Great view, great park and castle if only you had access and a bit more facilities. The access to the castle is not permited at this time . The lights during the evenings are not quite enough . But the views and the air compensate for everything else

Peles Castle is as beautiful as many castles in fairy tales. It is well maintained and near the popular Sinala Mountain Resort. The day when I was there happened to be cold but sunny with a blue sky and sunshine. The walkway from where our coach parked to the castle is a gentle slope and very close. The buildings around... This is my favourite castle I've seen so far besides the Pena Palace in Sintra, Portugal! The garden is beautifully organized, and the interior is magnificent. Love the crafts, furniture and settings.

I have recently visited and I must admit that I was impressed by this gorgeous castle. Not only spectacular from the outside, but as you get inside you will discover a masterpiece of architecture. The summer residence of the first king of Roumania, Carol I, is surrounded by the mountains, in Sinaia and I think it's the first tourist attraction... More
