I found this place by accident and it did take a while to find, as my map was not accurate, however once there I was so delighted. It really has everything for all people and it is so full of history, nature, beautiful scenery and places to relax. Plus a delightful old castle to explore and a cafe to refresh... More

We spent hour wandering around beautiful trails and the historic house. This place has a great children's play area, accommodates dogs and provides a wonderful nature backdrop for all.

Worth a visit. Some, great views of Lake Ennell The house needs some renovation and more rooms opened with artefacts on display. Very pleasant walled gardens and the curious Jealousy Wall.

We visited here on a sunny Sunday afternoon. I thought it was overpriced and a bit boring. The grounds are nice and the house is quite interesting but could do with some sort of tour guide.
